Dr. NDAYIKUNDA is a professor of strategic communication and communication for development In Burundi and Canada. He is also a communication and international development advisor for different organizations including Global Affairs Canada. Yves is also active in African and global professional networks, including Inter- University Council for East Africa, Academia ACCS, EACA and INTERDECOM. Among leadership positions held, Yves is a former Rector of Université Lumière de Bujumbura and Director General of an NGO. Yves strongly believe in the power of education and research to ensure equity, equality and African socioeconomic and technological emergence.

Mr Ndabunganiye is Human Resources Generalist and Program Manager with 24 years of experience. Worked with UN, African Union, and Norwegian Refugee Council. Skills in conflict management, performance management, and strategic thinking. Vincent is a certified Leadership and Performance Coach. Multilingual, easing communication in RECADEC’s regions of operation.

Dr. Njeru is a dynamic educator with extensive experience in communication. Lecturer at Strathmore University, consultant, and former assistant lecturer in Kigali. Beatrice leads various initiatives, including Strathmore Communications Clinic. Beatrice is passionate about education and access to quality education.

Prof. Libaert is Advisor at the European Economic and Social Committee, focusing on ecological transition. Thierry is a Scientific collaborator at the Earth & Life Institute and President of the Academy of Controversies and Sensitive Communication.
Thierry is a globally recognized author in the field of communication with many published books. He is a former lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris and the University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium.
Thierry is involved in various environmental and communication initiatives.

Dr. Watson is a Geography and environmental science professor at Eastern Kentucky University. Specialized in landscape ecology, environmental education, and natural resource management.
Kelly conducts global research and development projects, including in Burundi and Kenya. Focuses on sustainable livelihoods, reforestation, and community-based resource management.
Kelly is committed to building capacity and resilience in rural communities through education and innovation.

Dr NEZERWE is a Business finance professor in Texas and international consultant. Holds a Doctorate in Finance and executive certificates from Harvard and USC. Expertise in corporate finance, economics, and entrepreneurial finance. Extensive experience in the financial services industry. Published researcher and active academic service member. Involved in global business ventures.

Mrs NDAYIKENGURUKIYE is an expert in research and innovation in East, Central, and Southern Africa. Certified Quebec Innovation advisor. Led EAC regional strategy for industrial clusters. Ninon promotes social enterprises like JIBU and KICKSTART. Her research focuses on formal and informal markets. Led EU and World Bank projects in Burundi. Strong network with policymakers and grassroots organizations. Ninon advocates for gender transformative and sustainable development policies.

Mrs Bukumi is an expert in French linguistics, psychosocial intervention, and Microsoft Office. French teacher at Catholic schools in Eastern Ontario and online French as a second language instructor. Verdiane is an experienced counsellor and professional orientation advisor. Holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Burundi. Member of the Ontario College of Teachers and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

Professor Tremblay is a specialist in issues relating to sustainable development communications, social responsibility and climate change. She is a former Professor of Communication at UQAM Canada. Solange is considered a pioneer in Canada and is associated with several important initiatives on these issues internationally. She is the author and co-author of numerous research and publications. Solange is also a founding member of Public Relations Without Borders.

Ms. NIYUHIRE works in the field of technology integration in teaching, learning and research. Currently, she is responsible for the innovation aspect at the Saint-Jean Campus of the University of Alberta where she oversees initiatives related to technological and educational innovation. She also teaches computer science and information management systems courses. Lise is also President of the Réseau d’Enseignement Francophone à Distance (French- speaking Distance Education Network), REFAD.
