Doing research and supporting evidence-based education to foster youth employability and entrepreneurship
Research

The RECADEC supports research-based education focusing on youth employability and entrepreneurship. This is done through interdisciplinary research initiatives in various areas representing opportunities and challenges. RECADEC also brings together different stakeholders to work on creating skilled and competent human capital.
Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening

RECADEC uses evidence-based methods to build capacity and strengthen higher learning institutions to foster quality of education, updated education systems and engage stakeholders. Also, RECADEC supports regular curricula reviews to ensure relevance and adaptability of the programs offered to the market/community needs. This is done through seminars, conferences, training, workshops, involving African diaspora and engaging different stakeholders, including policy makers and partners.
Advocacy

RECADEC uses data in advocating for evidence-based policymaking. Also, REACADEC uses data in sensitizing countries and development partners to invest in research, equitable quality of education, inclusive and accessible education, and global partnership for education and research. Moreover, REDADEC advocates for integrating research as the basis for designing and implementing effective and lasting development plans.
Internship and volunteer programs

RECADEC establishes partnerships with public and private companies to organize internships for young graduates. Also, RECADEC intends works with civil society organizations to organize volunteer work placements. This helps them to enhance their learning and professional development through hands-on experience.
African diaspora engagement

To engage and involve African Diaspora – faculty and professionals – in skill-building and collaborative research. Their experience and expertise bring added value to projects aimed at developing or revising programs that are comparable and transferable at national, regional and international levels. With their knowledge and experience shared, our programs are likely to enable our youth to meet the market and community expectations.
